ok i can see it now, this is absolutely retarded, i think he's trying to be funny like "all your base" was, but it makes absolutely no sense at all, and half of it isnt even pixel art.

Next time post a link, cos this horiziontal scrolling lark really gets on my nerves.. the only reason you should post images is if you want Comments and/or Critique and you have made no indication that you want either of these. So next time you fancy showing us something like this, post a link and an explanation of what exactly it is, so that we can make our own minds up as to whether we want to endure it or not. I don't mean to make you feel unwelcome (new member and all) but it only takes a little bit of thought to realise that this kind of new thread will annoy people, and is a waste of bandwidth, which is the reason we are on this 'free' board in the first place.
I am suddenly very happy that pixelation has a pre-registration test for new members..... I really wanted to write "READ THE FAQ!!"

Heh, hey you all. Why so... not-nice you are. I mean: "and am i really stupid or this comic doesn't make much sense? hehehe "
"and the point is...."
"ok i can see it now, this is absolutely retarded, i think he's trying to be funny like "all your base" was, but it makes absolutely no sense at all"
Ehm... I did really laugh, heh. So I know whole bunch of people who walk round me a mile because I laugh at Monty Python and other stuff they don't. Sense of humour is individual matter and do not try to interfere with Redmon's humour sense . ANd with mine. I mean it doesn not make MUCH sense but one - it is funny. Abstraction, absurdity, satire... Hey it is what this all is about.
Alpha: I do not care whether you are stupid, you may as well be, it won't disturb me. But why are you asking? I do not know you :]
Hey there is one rule: "don't be an ass". I do not say you were even close but remember it.
And Trowa: this is temp pixelation and as Frozen have said everyobdy can psot here offtopics or whatever they want, I believ in intention to ease pain.
So no offence everyobdy just don't judge others sense of humour OK? And this horizontal thingy wasn't that disturbing, at least for me. Still you should warn about big image size, heh.

[/moral high ground] i'm not gonna get dragged into a flame. But my point is that there is no explanation of what it is and why it has been posted and absolutely no benefit to posting an image this large in it's entirety when a link would suffice. well what is the point?? the question still stands, i know absolutely nothing about why this thread was started by Redmond. All i know is what the thread contains, which means nothing without an explanation. And i think that even off topic boards have limitations, i for example cannot be expected to guess what the intentions of the person who started the thread are. At least an off topic such as "what did you think of naruto 51?" is clear to the reader as to what it is about. A little bit of an explanation such as "here is my latest comic strip, let me know what you think." would have allowed me to post a reply that at least related to the material in hand, rather than posting a query to find out what the thread is all about. that sentance took about 10 seconds to type, so it's not much to ask. I don't think that Redmonds sense of humour was ever bought into question, people just said that it didn't make sense. I think that is taking it a bit far with regards to alphas comment, which was made in humour and in response to a seemingly difficult to understand comic, and at no point did alpha take the comversation to a personal level, which you have done in your reply. [edit] Methinks, i didn't mean that to sound patronising, i just think that you're jumping the gun a bit. as for the horizontal scrolling thing, you're right and i could have easily just clicked the back button and ignored the post, as could everyone else. Lessons to be learnt by everyone i guess. [/edit]

Hehe, although not strictly pixel art, I have to say I get a kick out of these, I loved the last one, and I dig this one too. People have been saying it doesnt make any sense, but then again neither did most of Monty Python etc. Its abstract humour, and as far as I understand it it seems to be projecting sort of philosophical debates on to the sort of cliche platform game worlds were used to seeing. (I could be wrong, thats just how I read it) I for one found it pretty amusing, but hey maybe thats just my particular sense of humour. My 2 cents.
Bonus of 50 points for using the word Couscous

Trowa: I was NEVER intending to drag anyone into a flam or start any kind of flamewar. I was simply defending this post as, in my opinion, you akk have not only underestimated it, but also somehow offended it. This short comic is very artistic and inspirative for me and I am happy that I am not the only one who liked it. Not writing anything and giving only the image made it even more artistic and abstractive and tehrefore it hit me more. And it did hit you all more simply in other way. It did entertain and it is it's purpose I believe. Still I can agree about posting a link as this image is big and everything :] And about sense of humour thingy - yeah saying it doesn't make sense means that you didn't laugh. If you didn't this comic wasn't adressed to you. About Alphas comment check down :]
Alpha: I did not intend to offend. I have doublethough about posting what I did and I was sure that you will not feel offended. Asking about being silly indicates that you want to point out low quality of sth. You do not have to feel alright with thios sort of comic - I do. Anyway sorry if you felt touched.
So anyway sorry for all who've felt offended but pls be careful with words "retarded" is very rude one and talking this way about art is liek talking about the artist.
