offtopic: It's been like a half year (or more..) since I last wrote anything here.. been a little busy. But now I'm back (if anyone cares) not offtopic: I've made some pixeling since the last visit here (a half year ago) and wanted to show you all the pictures and ask for what you think of them. And what to better on. here's the pics: here's a logo I was makeing for my homepage (not finished) and here's another version of the same image (don't like it as much) here's a stupid step by step image I made for a pixeling of a iso guy (really bad technic ) A ugly fighting sprite A ugly swordman sprite Some tests on iso pixeling note: all images was made in paint!! (ok. they were made to gif in psp) A image I've just created while waiting for some C+C Still no C+C.. so I made this Animation: Made with psp. Please C+C this images!

I feel that you deserve it so here's some C&C:
Overall you have some anatomy problems, unless you where shooting for deformed beings. I believe that was teh case with ink-head guy on the banner but not sure what about the others.
1. Pink head guy could use some more shading on his back. You need to define light source better too. Use more darker shade on back of his head and shade more every part of his body that light would not touch. Everything apart from his head looks unshaded. 2. I like second version of banner thingy better, thous atari signs would benefit from AAing. 3. I can't say much about ISO guy :] Youc could try finishing it off. I can see that you've very nicely defined lightsource and distributed light on it's surface. 4. Fighting sprite has biggest anatomy problem for me. I am not pro at this but... His stance is akward, his legs ar too short and HIS left hand seems too far from the torso a few pixels. Anyway it is a nice piece but he is too flat. Try making farther parts darker than those closest to us. PLus add 3d to him, his hands are flat in some parts in some ar 3d :] Use dark and light shades to greater extentd, experiment with this. 5. Swordman sprite is not ugly, probably my favourite. He has some kind of problem with his torso it is way too flat and straight for me. Also HIS left hand is very far to OUR right. He is holding sword in a strange way. MOve his elbow to OUR top-left, shade it so it would look like his hand is more in horizontal position. 6. Give mroe light to this fella's right leg (one in front). It also should be easier to distinguish where one leg aends and other begins.SOme more contrast.
So here it is. Nice sprites :] I don't know whetehr you're back cause I'm at pixelation from a month or so only :] Anyway nice to see you here.

sorry I'm too lazy to comment on your art.. just wanted to mention that assassin is spelled with four 's'.. unless you did it on purpose that is, after all, google reports 78000 hits on "assasin"

no offence all but here is my advice dXtr: do not post too much art at once cause people here are rather lazy when it comes to C&Cing a lot. :] So post rather single sprites :} And not at once :]

I had an old sprite that was animated, just like that eyeball only straight on and it had firing mechanical gun arms and I also did an alien eye a cat eye and one with rockets, pity I lost them but the drawings still remain. They were probably as good as my black widow spider.
