 I thought ahead and 2xed it in my program, I decided (when i was very bored, lol) that I wanted to update the image. I made more of a highlight and messed with the NEM energy thingie. Pretty much it, any comments C&C welcome. |

Looks cool, although with the energy being blue and the body being red, the trick of the eye pushes the energy back, making it look a little weird, but in all its Cool! ;D
On another note: I aint been on pixelation now in a few months :/ d**n college and stuff

Ah. Well, I still feel bad about being a pixel slacker... school is pretty much throwing me out the 2nd story window, jumping on my carcass, kicking it, and laughing evilly. Just know this, when I get the time to pixel, that's what I'll work on (then, after that, I have a project I was working on for someone else I got to do... meh...)  |

The armor part is pretty cool, but lol the character is supposed to be giving off the berserker/crazy strong attacking guy kind of vibe, and you are giving him an animal-y cutesy feel, heh. But the overall coloring style is pretty sweet so far, with a different head it would be awesome. Give him some crazy half grin or something and make his hair a bit bigger, and I think it will be awesome.

Austin: Overall I really like your demon, but...
(isn't there always a but...?)
the lighting is a little off. Not so much on the body-arms-neck but on the face. Stand in front of a miror in a dark room and shine a flashlight up toward your face from your chest. (In my Mike Myers voice) Ahhh, you're the leprechaun! Right now the face is lit as from above: with very dark shadows under the chin and nose.
Also, I'd play with the colors a bit, making the highlights tinged with a bit more blue/purple. You might get a really nice effect from that.

Heres a little edit i did based on samsons reply:  I'm a lot happier with this one, the purplish highlights might change shade a bit, but i think its about where i want it to be. Anymore C&C is still welcome, of course. |

hum... well, not that i can do something better, but looking at it i think the shoulders are too small compared to his arms, that are too "wide" (i think that is the word i'm looking for, but i'm not sure)...
sorry if i can't express my point very well...
but do you know what i mean?

I really like the edit (well, I liked it before, too, but like it even more now). I think you did a really nice job bringing some blue light onto the skin. Nice!
