I am part of a game development team currently in a project to create a Real Time Strategy, Fantasy game with RPG parts in it. (ex. Like AoM, but units lvl up, have many more stats, etc.) If you think you can draw good 2D pixel (sprites/unit/characters), or even good looking (outside view) buildings, please e-mail me at: Dark_Vamp665@hotmail.com So far, we have a pixel animist doing most of the graphics, (except units) a music guy, and 2 talented C++ programmers. Please e-mail me for more information. >Dan Shadow

that's a lot to ask of a single person, and it would take a long time. Are you looking to hire multiple persons?

Did you know that blizzard employes more then 300 people? Even if 1/3rd of them ar artists, that's still 100 artists. RTS's are a lot of work

It is a lot of work, but it will be nearly the ultimate game. (We hope ;D) This game may need multiple sprite artists, well it will. I am a sprite artist, but im not good at it, heh. So, yes, we will probably need more than one pixel, 8 direction sprite artist. And by joining or assisting my online game development group, your names automatically go with the credits, and you get a place as either Secondary Administrator or Moderator. (All depending on the level of artistry. ie. excellent, OK. Although you will most likely be Secondary Administrator. The Tertiary Admins are me and the other game leader.) This RTS/fantasy/RPG will also be an online, massively multiplayer game eventually as well. And if it takes awhile to do sprites, its ok! The coding will take awhile to be complete anyway! Please e-mail me if you wish to join or for more information. Dark_Vamp665@hotmail.com

hmm i don't normally do requests, but something interests me about this project.. if you could give any info on sprite size and if you have any of the existing sprites to post then you might get me interested. Also, i think that 'Rock' might be interested in the recruitment policys of your RTS units.

Great! The sprites should be kind of like AoE or AoM style, but not that good, heh. Kind of like it, but more 2D. If you can, please send me a few examples of your work to my e-mail. (email is listed above) Thanks!
