I dunno whether an images posted count would help as you see a lot of people making multiple posts with multiple edits of the same picture over and over when all theyve changed is 3 pixels... seems just as bad as a post count... maybe a vote/kudos systemy thing where the creator of the thread can give kudos to critiques that helped them and registered viewers can give kudos to posts that they think are excellent... once only of course... always in moderation... "It's unpleasent to say this, and it rather pisses me off (particularly since Pixelation isn't the only site that's losing data here), but it looks like it's the way it is." -- FrozenEmu
I have complete backups of neh and meh if you need/want them.

Instead of everyone complaning about the temp boards and all of the problems with swoo.net, how about we band together and try to do something about it?
What if members of the pixelation community were to make small donations towards obtaining a secure and stable host for the boards, and for maintaining them? There are plenty of good, cheap hosts out there...I use powweb, and it's only $7/month, and in the two years I've hosted my site there it's been down one day, when they moved the content of their servers. I'm sure there are many other reasonable solutions out there, and with the number of hardcore pixelation enthusiasts around here the donation amount would likely be negligible.
Just a suggestion...

Or just fix swoo and find a way to make it not nutsty.

What is swoo, anyway? Who hosts it?
And holy ghosties, men, I only re-found this board through google -- on the bottom of page TWO!

We are battered and scattered, my brethren... but not beaten. No, not beaten. We will reclaim our land from the fury of the Server, and when we do, we will rock this internet.

Not to be a pessimist, but Command-D, my friend... Uh, what? I think that's a Macintosh command, but I (am) use(d by) Windows.

Pixelation is NEVER coming back, no!!!!!!!
Seriously though, one full month of downtime is approaching in a few days. Perhaps when it comes back there should be a "wipe" so we can start fresh.
