The main problem i have with them is the fact there's pixel inconsistency, meaning: you've just used smaller pixels when you couldn't do something within the resolution you started with! you have a body with a lower res than the wings/gun/whatever, and that a)LOOKS wrong, and b)Sort of goes against the "rules" of pixelling (if you where to do it for a real game or something) I don't know HOW you did it, but i just suggest you stick within the resolution you started in, even though that may sometimes be difficult (sometimes you just want more detail eh?

The sprites have a lot of character, but the double pixel width of the out line lets the sprites down a tad.
As pea said, it looks like you have done a sprite at a lower resolution and then put it into a higher res image.
Also in the green characters there is 8..(!) shades of green, and at this scale you can only see 3. which suggests that you have either compressed them at some point into jpg or have scaled them up into a larger image using a transform tool. But to be honest these are both minor problems and not really particularly significant seeing as you're new to pixelling.
The only 'rule' of pixeling that i am aware of, whether it be for a commercial project or not, is to enjoy it. So znus if you enjoyed making these sprites then keep making them and posting them.
your 'toony' sprites show character and your isometrics are clean and mostly grid consistent, so good work, and welcome to pixelation.
