rydefly: yeah that's what I though too but didn't post as i though i may be wrong... yeas i though too that photoshop was firstly designed for mac and that mac is computer for graphic and this kind of stuff, heh *confused*
noadi: i totally agree with this program is just too big and most of it's bigness is unuseful for pixeling.
Well, to help the confusion, Mac are excellent for digital video editing and graphics... but I was referring to older Macs, which (like older PC's) are nearly useless for anything related to high-end graphics. (We aren't talking MSPaint here, heh)
The latest Macs (G5 Dual 2Ghz) work Photoshop like a dream... you can stuff 8 Gigs of memory into those suckers. THEY are the reason Mac's are good for video work. (And when they hit Dual 3 Ghz next year.... hehehehe I shudder to think about it... ;D ;D ;D)
If you wanna get really oldskool and do black+while 1bit art, LightningPaint is superb! Has really interesting features not found in many proper apps, best of which being 'polite' palletes, they temporarily dissapear if you paint under them!!! Why don't all graphix apps do that???
