Its not done, I want to detail it some more and tweak diff stuff, oh and if you dont like something about it, change that too Anyway, that original graphic I showed you was ok, but I figured I could do more work then that Without further ado, heres, you.. *EDIT 2: Lunchtime touchup Blended head and arms a bit more, blended the sock puppett a little bit, made the eyes come out a bit more, and other misc stuff. Here it is: * EDIT 2-a: Redid the outline for a softer touch, and so it can have trans around the monkey. *EDIT: The original I posted was 88 colors, and I figured out why.. I did the head and body in illustrator, and when I opened it in photoshop it was CMYK, did all my editing, and when I converted to RGB then to indexed the cmyk mode added 1% values to each color, so I had to go in and redo the colors, anyway, here is the updated image with a palette, Ill be editing the shading later on, probably during my lunch. and heres the original with 88 colors. Oh and if anyone has any suggestions, or if Xio wants to let me know I'm pillow shading again, feel free

Overall the look is pretty good...However the arms look a bit wonky...The one with the sock puppet seems about the right length ( but elbow-less), whereas the one with the flower seems too long, at least in terms of where it presents the elbow as being...IMO the contrast could be upped a bit, but it's really not necessary as you've got a pretty good palette going there...Keep up the good work...

heuheuehue really cool!!! and is that on his left hand a flower or a lollypop? =P i don't think the arms are too long, if you consider he's a monkey... heheh... and hey, you could try doing an animation on his sock-hand as if it was talking, that would be funny =P

Heh, nicely done I agree with eghost about the elbowless right arm (his) and the long left My only suggestions would be to add a pixel or two on his right arm to indicate the presence of an elbow and either shorten the right arm and bring it up a few pixels (or just shorten, I'm not sure heh) or completely redraw it tilting downward... heh Otherwise, pretty cool heh

I'm actually shooting for a comical effect, hence why the arm with the lollypop looks wierd, as for the sock puppett arm, maybe ill tweak that a little bit and see how it shows up.

he looks very cool, everyone likes a monkeh.
just a couple of points; i noticed how many colours are on your pallette, especially browns, and a lot of these colours are very similar. i reckon you could reduce your palette by around 8 colours and not notice it on the final sprite.
Also you could smooth out the outline a little by adding a bit of AA, especially round the top of the head and around the feet.

Glad you like it so far twistid looking forward to your c+c so i can tailor it to your liking. As for the browns, I actually tried reducing the palette further, and lost some shading in some areas, face, where arms, legs meet body, etc..
