Mine was of, how do I want to say this, "abstract art." As in you couldn't tell what it was. What was yours?

My first Pixel art was made some 9 years ago or so and it was a "translation" from a piece of graph paper to a QB screen, and was produced with an intricate series of PSET and LINE commands. It was a little fighter ship. Later I coded up even more intricate pixels which were actual people.

My first pixel... I think it was of either a wizard in blue, or some knight.

I know exactly what mine was even though I no longer have it. It was a little generic rpg sprite I made by following Tsugumo's tutorial.

My first pixel art ever was the Quina sprite I used as avatar when I first joined Pixelation. I made that one a couple of years ago...
If you want to see it I can upload it somewhere.

Hmm, my first pixel art eh? Well, I can remember trying to make RPG sprites for a Qbasic game a long time ago. Well, one sprite in particular. I made him in MS Paint, and he was probably way too big, and he lacked a lot of depth. Actually, now that I think of it, way back in 95' I did a picture of Scorpion from Mortal Kombat on my friends PC. It was the first time I ever used a modern PC pretty much. But yea, it was way too big and was completely ridiculous. I didn't REALLY even know what pixel art was back then anyways. Then in 99' I made a sheet of really dumb sprites, again, I didn't really know much about pixel art. It wasn't until August of 2002 that I really started getting into it and learning more about it. But yea, thats my life story.

Mines was a partial tileset, maybe I'll post later.
Is it me or have you not made an actual post with art in it yet... they all seem to be posts on topics, none with art in it.

I made abstract at first as well. That was about six years ago. Then I moved to landscapes... after that I fell into the whole MMORPG thing and started emulating online games. Realized that most of those graphics are by crappy programmers who can't draw well and moved onto studying the good stuff like Seiken Densetsu 3. Now I try to set my own style. And not my own style of Anime like everyone else and their mother. I call mine Ultime, and it's focused on making stuff better than anime. :)
